Project Overview
Following hardwood floor sanding and refinishing, fine wood dust had settled throughout the home despite dust containment measures. Open shelving, kitchen surfaces, cabinetry, appliances, and countertops all required detailed cleaning before the home was ready for everyday use.
Post Green Cleaning was hired to provide professional post-construction cleaning services using commercial HEPA-filtered equipment and detailed cleaning methods to remove fine sanding dust from throughout the property. Our goal was to restore a clean, healthy living environment while protecting the home’s newly refinished hardwood floors.
Scope Of Work
Wood floor sanding creates extremely fine dust that can travel far beyond the work area and settle on cabinets, shelving, countertops, appliances, and other finished surfaces throughout a home. Our technicians performed a detailed post-construction cleaning service using commercial HEPA-filtered equipment, microfiber detailing, and careful cleaning techniques to remove dust without redistributing particles into the air.
Special attention was given to the kitchen where open shelving, cabinetry, countertops, and appliances had collected fine sanding dust. Every accessible surface was cleaned methodically to remove residual dust while protecting the newly refinished floors and surrounding finishes.
To further improve indoor air quality, commercial HEPA air filtration equipment was operated throughout the cleaning process to capture airborne particles during the final stages of the project. The completed cleaning left the home fresh, comfortable, and ready for normal everyday use.
