re·vi·tal·i·za·tion: the act or process of giving new life or fresh vitality or energy to something
For 10 years and counting Post Green Cleaning has been delivering undisputed ‘Distinct Post Renovation Cleaning Services’ for a multitude of customers. From gut-renovated townhouses to complete brownstone restoration cleanings, we deliver consistently sensational deep cleaning services for our residential customers. The purpose of this post, however, is to bring awareness to a particular request we find to be growing and with good reason. It’s the need for a cleaner, greener, healthier space in the home that’s often overlooked — the basement!
Your Basement: Clean, Organized with Freshly Painted Concrete Floors
Unfinished residential basements are often the location of stored family goods such as kids’ bicycles, boxes, excess furnishings, and gym equipment. We have even seen remnant pieces of the home’s interior like parts of the fireplace mantle, wood molding pieces, staircase banister pieces, boxes of extra floor tiles, paint jars, and the sort. If this best describes your basement, you’re not alone. And all these items are often covered in layers of accumulated dust, and debris residue, making basements not the most comfortable place to be. Sounds familiar? Likely for most it is.
It’s time to gain control of this prime space that can be used much more efficiently for you and your family at a fraction of the cost to renovate.

Our Process
A project manager would typically come to your home to learn what’s involved. While every basement condition will vary, i.e. some are fully occupied while others are semi-occupied, all stored belongings are simultaneously vacuumed and or damp wiped while being moved from one section of the basement to the other. The cleared section of the floor is prepped, vacuumed, mopped, and then painted.
Within 24-48 hours of drying, this same process begins on the other side, moving all personal items to the dried side to complete the second half of the basement. When complete, your basement will be completely organized and cleaned with freshly painted floors. See a video example of our work here:
Painted Concrete Floors Are Low Maintenance
Properly sealed concrete floors shrug off dirt, grit, stains, spills, and hard impacts. A little sweeping and damp mopping is all that’s required to keep them looking like new greatly reducing the dust and other harmful allergens that eventually dominates the air in your basement and storage rooms.
We are committed to finding cost-effective solutions to create a greener home environment for our customers’ well-being. Give us a call or email us today and receive a ‘free inspection and evaluation’ of your basement floors.
